EDGEWATER: Chinese Mirch (featuring “Chinese food, Indian flavors”), with outlets in NYC, NJ and CT (as well as a NYC food truck) will be opening in the space formerly of Su Restaurant (a Boozy Burbs fave). Opening is expected sometime in July.

RIDGEWOOD: Park West Tavern will be hosting an Old Fashioned Clam Bake on their new outdoor patio on Thursday, July 19th featuring an All You Can Eat buffet & craft beers.

CRESSKILL: WannaBee Chef will be hosting their first singles class and mixer with The Courtship Coach on August 7th featuring an aphrodisiac-inspired menu.

HUDSON COUNTY: Summer Restaurant Week runs this year from July 23rd thru August 3rd featuring prix fixe meals from over 35 restaurants.

CLOSTER: There is currently a $20 for $40 Yelp Deal available for Sear House. No word on when this deal ends, though the discount is valid one year from date of purchase.

NYACK: Gypsy Donut is hosting their first event, Tasting and Appreciating Coffee on July 11th with their coffee genius Eric featuring discussions and education about coffee plus Stumptown Coffee Roaster samples.

EDGEWATER: Fleming’s Steakhouse introduced a new summer menu series called the Summer Lovin’ Steak & Sangria Menu featuring a specialty steak and sangria every two weeks during from July 2nd thru August 26th.

TENAFLY: Sparkie’s Pizza, which also has a location in Closter, has closed and there is a sign in the window that the business is for sale.

NORWOOD: Pre-Fixed lunch and dinner menus are now available for $9.99 (Monday-Friday) and $19.99 (Sunday-Thursday) respectively at Tutti Giorni.

NEW MILFORD: For all the craft beer fans, Jersey Boys Grill is hosting a Leinenkugel Promo Night on Tuesday, July 17th from 7:00pm-9:00pm at featuring models, giveaways and $4 pints.

NORWOOD: The Blind Boar is now offering delivery service.

EDGEWATER: Mitsuwa Marketplace is hosting an Kyushu & Okinawa Fair featuring gourmet foods from these Southern regions of Japan on Thursday July 26th thru Sunday July 29th.

NEW YORK CITY: For 2012 the annual Summer Restaurant Week event is taking place from July 16th thru Aug 10th.

WEST NYACK: Yard House, a restaurant that offers a large selection of draft beers, a diverse menu of American fare, and plays a selection of classic rock music, will open in Palisades Center Mall on July 29th.

NORTHVALE: The town has passed an ordinance that allows food businesses who apply for a license to have tables and chairs outside their establishments from April through November.

CLOSTER: Sear House is having a Comedy Night on Friday, July 13th with Uncle Floyd performing from 8:00-11:30pm.

CRESSKILL: Elisa Ung has reviewed Spasso and given them 2 stars in The Record on Friday, July 13th.

ENGLEWOOD: Print out the Englewood Style Rewards Card for discounts from 20+ merchants including 10% off Levant Grille, is-a-berry and Hummus Elite.

PALISADES: The 9W Market is hosting their first ever Market Lobster Bake on Saturday, July 28th featuring a menu of lobster, sides, desserts, beer, sangria & live music starting at 5pm.

CRESSKILL: For an undisclosed length of time, Umeya is offering a Summer Special of Fresh Oysters with Daigingo Sake for $15.

MAHWAH: Boom Burger, a burger restaurant and (mostly) bar in Rochelle Park is opening their second location.

NORTHVALE: Biddy O’Malleys will soon be adding an outdoor patio. This presumably is due to recently passed ordinance mentioned above.

DEMAREST: The borough has granted new Greek restaurant Yasou Mykonos a two-month temporary permit for outdoor seating, which could lead to town-wide adoption.

VARIOUS LOCATIONS: Houlihan’s (with local spots in Paramus, Ramsey & Weehawken) is now offering a rotating selection of craft beer. Current Menu.
