Most Anticipated Bergen County Restaurant Openings for 2021

It’s hard to believe this is the seventh time we’ve compiled our most anticipated list for the coming year. With so many places set to open, who knows what’s in store for next year?

Lots of restaurants are supposedly (things can always change, especially as the coronavirus pandemic continues) in the works ― here are a few we are looking forward to checking out in 2021…

Five Dimes Brewery in Westwood — Downtown Westwood is getting a brewery. Initial plans were submitted last year, though it was officially approved in October. (Read Approval Story)

Jollibee in East Rutherford — The Filipino fast food chain specializes in fried chicken, spaghetti and other classic Filipino dishes. It’s coming to the American Dream property sometime next year. (Read Original Story)

The Craftsman in Fair Lawn — This Restaurant from Manhattan makes it’s second appearance to the most anticipated list and will serve crafted cocktails, rotating craft beers and a menu of small plates and healthy eats. (Read Original Story)

Munchies Food Hall in East Rutherford — Also making it’s second appearance, the American Dream property never got to open many of the planned restaurants, though a few eventually did open during the pandemic. The 38,000 square foot food hall from the VICE brand is something continues to pique our curiosity. (Read Original Story)

The Return of “Normal” in Everywhere — No, this isn’t an upcoming restaurant. But getting the opportunity to eat at many restaurants that have been closed or without social distancing and limited capacity is something to look forward to… hopefully soon!
