Upcoming Gaonnuri in Fort Lee Will Serve Alcohol

Gaonnuri, a Korean restaurant with a penthouse location in Midtown NYC, is well on it’s way to the new Hudson Lights development in Fort Lee — as previously reported earlier last year. Dubbed an “authentic” Korean restaurant — not that there is a shortage of those in Fort Lee — Gaonurri offers quite a selection (View NYC Menu) including lunch, dinner, tasting menu, dessert and more.

Of course it wouldn’t be New Jersey without the interest on whether Gaonnuri will serve booze — due to outdated laws. The answer appears to be yes as they’ve recently submitted for approval of a liquor license transfer. No word on how their construction is progressing, though we imagine an opening can’t be too far off as the first Hudson Lights tenant iPic Theaters recently made it’s debut.
