For those driving along Route 208 have seen the construction for the Fair Lawn Promenade since 2012. Fair Lawn Patch is reporting via the development company’s website that a number of tenants have been announced and the property will open around April 1st (no joke). This mixed-use village style project along the northbound side of the highway, features approximately 100,000 sq feet of retail, service, office space and residential units in an “upscale town center environment”.

The restaurant and food tenants that have signed leases are as follows: Starbucks, Anthony’s Coal Fired Pizza (Update: Anthony’s Coal Fired Pizza Fair Lawn is now open), Qdoba Mexican Grill (Update: Qdoba Fair Lawn is now open), Cups Yogurt, Habit Burger and Noodles & Co. The ubiquitous Starbucks and fairly common Qdoba are most likely familiar to most, as they have been operating many outlets across the metro area for quite some time.

Anthony’s Coal Fired Pizza, the Flordia-based coal oven pizza chain, has expanded into the area over the last few years. This location will be it’s second in Bergen County, the other is north along Route 17 in Ramsey. There is also one in nearby Clifton. CUPS, a froyo concept that opened at Bergen Town Center in 2012 and The Shops at Nanuet this past year (it also has been operating one in Clifton), was named one of “The Most Popular Fast-Food Outlets You Haven’t Heard Of (Yet)” by Yahoo Finance.

Noodles & Company (Update: Noodles Fair Lawn is now open), which successfully opened the first NJ location of it’s globally-inspired noodle dish concept in East Brunswick last year, is a new concept for the area. The chain, which has been dubbed the “Chipotle of noodles“, is also expected to open in Ramsey in the near future. Then there is Habit Burger (its now open), which is a chain that began in Santa Barabara with locations in California, Arizona and Utah. They feature burgers char-grilled over an open flame, plus sandwiches, salads and shakes.
