Stokes Farm in Old Tappan has closed their current farmstand for the last time. From July through November, it’s open on Tuesdays and Fridays selling a selection of home grown produce. According to their Facebook page, this winter they will be taking it down to make room for a bigger parking lot and a brand new farmstand (For those looking for their products, they will see be at the Union Square and Tucker Square Green Markets in NYC).

They did not specify a timetable for the new farmstand to be completed, though hopefully it will be in time for the farmstand’s traditional reopening in April. A number of local restaurants source produce from Stokes including Biddy O’Malley’s in Northvale.
