Previewed: Biddy O’Malley’s, Northvale, NJ

Outdoor Seating at Biddy’s

Gastropubs have certainly become popular destinations in NYC for great beer and cocktail selections with heavy emphasis on food. Particularly with full kitchens producing high quality dishes from high quality ingredients. Biddy O’Malley’s has staked it’s claim as the best (and maybe first true) gastropub in Northeastern NJ.

A selection of appetizers and salads gets things started, with some well-crafted sandwiches and entrees rounding out the menu. The specials change weekly (sometimes over weekends) featuring flatbreads, poultry, fish and veggie options. There is even a beef blend from LaFrieda Meats for their hamburgers.

The alcohol choices don’t look to disappoint either. Whether it’s 25 white wines or 25 red wines for only $25 or an excellent craft beer list featuring 12 beers on tap and another 25+ bottled choices (not to mention excellent Happy Hour featuring extremely discounted appetizer specials), Biddy’s has something for everyone.
