Update: Shake Shack Paramus is now open

Word spread like wildfire across the foodie blogosphere yesterday when Shake Shack announced that their Upper East Side location would immediately begin serving fresh-cut fries instead of their usual frozen first crinkle variety. According to A Hamburger Today, Shake Shack CEO Randy Garutti told them that “Every new Shack we open will begin to serve them..”.

That would put the Paramus outlet, as one of their upcoming openings, within those parameters so we reached out to Shake Shack PR and a spokesperson confirmed the new fries are coming to Paramus at launch. Considering the huge interest in their move to Route 17, those planning on patronizing the Shake Shack in Paramus might get the opportunity to enjoy these before many of their NYC bretheren.
