Brand New: Moe’s Southwest Grill, Northvale, NJ

Dare we say that Northvale NJ is becoming a dining destination? The last year has brought us the likes of Biddy O’Malley’s and All You Can Eat sushi via the newly re-opened Bamboo. Now after a few months wait, Moe’s Southwest Grill has decended upon the town.

For those not familiar (they do already have locations in Paramus, Edgewater, Mahwah), Moe’s is a southwest-style fast casual restaurant (think Qdoba or to a lesser extent Chipotle) with fresh ingredients made to order (burritos, tacos, salads, quesadillas).

The place has a little zaniness to it… Whenever a customer walks in the staff yells out “Welcome to Moe’s!”. Plus all their menu items are named after funny pop-culture references like the “Art Vandalay” or the “Homewrecker”.

Their Mantra

Assembling Meals from Fresh Ingredients

Salsa Station

The super cool soda vending machine

Fat Sam (Fajita) with Steak and Peppers, Onions, Pinto Beans, Guacamole, Cucumber, Olives

Pulled Pork Close Talker (Salad) with Peppers, Onions, Pico, Guacamole, Olives and Salsa off to the Side

Joey Jr with Tofu

Close Talker (Another Salad?) with Ground Beef

Tortilla Chips with Salsa

Queso with Chip

Overacheiver Taco with Steak
