Lunch Now Served at S. Egidio in Ridgewood
PORCHETTA with baby arugula, gorgonzola cream, caramelized onions, salsa verde
S. Egidio, which in May began serving its pizza napoletana in Ridgewood, is launching lunch for the first time. The menu will feature a selection of wood-fired panino and mezzaluna (half moon) sandwiches, salads and (of course) pizzas. Their bread is cooked to order in their imported oven ― then filled with a variety of salumi and cheese offerings ― including an imported Prosciutto Cotto stuffed with black truffle, a 24-month aged Prosciutto di Parma and a house slow-roasted Italian pulled Porchetta.
