JINYA Ramen Bar is Coming to The Shops at Riverside in Hackensack

JINYA Ramen Bar has announced plans to open a second New Jersey restaurant location at The Shops at Riverside in Hackensack.

The announcement is on the heels of their opening in Totowa (Full Story) last year.

Featuring over 2,000 square feet of bar and dining space, guests will have the opportunity to enjoy ramen crafted with broth simmered in-house for over 20 hours, along with “authentic” Japanese small plates, shareables, and craft cocktails.

With “thick, rich broth” that’s a “perfect balance with flavorful noodles”, the brand offers an array of toppings, including pork chashu, poached eggs and fresh garlic.

“We are thrilled to continue our partnership with Doherty Enterprises to bring JINYA Ramen Bar to Hackensack,” said JINYA CEO and Founder Tomo Takahashi. “This new location represents the next step in our shared vision to expand JINYA’s presence in the Northeast. With Doherty’s local expertise and our commitment to authentic ramen, we’re confident this opening will deliver an unforgettable dining experience to the Riverside community.”

Along with their food menu, it will also feature a full bar, stocked with a wide selection of Japanese beers, as well as liquors including whiskey, vodka, gin, and sake from brands like Suntory, Joto Craft Sake, and Mars Whiskey.

In addition to Japanese beers, the restaurant also features craft beers from local New Jersey breweries such as 7 Tribesmen, Ghost House Brewing, Kane Brewing, Bolero Snort Brewery, and Brix City.

An opening is expected sometime this fall.
