Erie Coffeeshop and Bakery, the highly lauded and popular business in Rutherford, is expanding.

It’s been named among the best bakeries in NJ (Read Story) plus the Food Network once said they had the best in the state with the Citrus Olive Oil Cake (Read Story).

Owner and head chef Renee Faris took to social media and shared the news with her online community.

The building next store (previously a shoe repair shop) will become part of the bakery.

Plans are to add more savory items and host additional popups during the year.

It’s clearly early in the process, so a potential date for when it’s completed has yet to be shared.
