As formerly reported, Dave Ligas (@theskinnypizzaguy) – formerly of Tavolino in Wallington – has shared the news about his plans on returning with a new pizzeria.

He first shared the location in Rutherford at 8 Highland Cross.

Now he’s shared the name: Casano’s Pizza Parlor.

It’s described as a “new concept” and Ligas will offer the “same staples pies” and a “couple of different options” from Tavolino.

Recently he’s been doing popups in and around the area.

Tavolino closed in 2022, but not before getting noticed by some of the state-wide media on their top pizza lists (Read Story).

No word yet on a potential opening date.
