Dave Ligas, formerly of Tavolino in Wallington, has shared some news about his upcoming plans on his Instagram account (@theskinnypizzaguy).

He’s opening a new pizzeria according to the post.

The business is replacing the now shuttered Top That Donuts in Rutherford.

It’s described as a “new concept” and will have a “new name”.

He will offer the “same staples pies” and a “couple of different options”.

Recently he’s been doing popups in and around the area and thanked everyone for the support.

Tavolino closed last year, but not before getting noticed by some of the state-wide media on their top pizza lists (Read Story).

No word yet on a potential opening date.
