Guerriero Gelato is Coming Soon to Teaneck

Guerriero Gelato, the award-winning, family owned, handmade ice cream shop has announced their first location in Bergen County.

What began as Gelotti Caldwell and became the now four location chain, is under the guidance of Mike Guerriero, with storefronts in Montclair, Caldwell, West Orange and Morristown.

They recently shared they will be opening in the former Bischoffs space — which recently shuttered after a run as a popup this past summer.

Guerriero himself has won Gelato Festival America (Read Story) and was named among the top 10 gelato chefs in the world by the Gelato Festival World Masters (Read Story).

In addition, Marc’s Cheesecake of Glen Rock also shared they will be combining forces and the brand will continue to exist in the new space as well.

Owner Marc Silverberg took to social media last week to announce the closure of Glen Rock and the move to Teaneck.

His cheesecakes have gotten acclaim as well over the years, being named Best Cheesecake in the state as recently as last July (Read Story).

There’s no word yet on an opening date.
