PrimoHoagies Announces Allendale Location Opening Date

PrimoHoagies, the sandwich chain, has announced a planned grand opening of its upcoming location in Allendale.

This is their second Bergen County location, the first is located in Mahwah.

Using recipes passed down through the generations, Primo uses Thumann’s meats and cheeses, a secret blend of spices, and locally sourced, fresh vegetables on their seeded rolls – which are baked fresh throughout the day.

The menu (View Menu) features a variety of cold and hot hoagies, cheesesteaks, wraps, vegetarian options, antipasti salads, chips, drinks, fresh-baked cookies, and more. New Jersey Monthly magazine also named their Italian sub the best among chain sandwich shops (Read Story).

Set for Tuesday, February 14 at 10:00am, it’s owned by local husband and wife entrepreneurs Jeff and Elisa Beaudette. The Beaudette family discovered PrimoHoagies while vacationing with friends in Avalon and were instantly drawn to the “authentic Italian hoagies” and “family-like atmosphere”.

“My dad always dreamed of opening a restaurant, so for me and my family, opening PrimoHoagies, with its focus on homemade recipes and tradition, provides the perfect opportunity to build something together, centered on our love of family and food,” said Jeff Beaudette. “What’s more, we love the hoagies and know the Allendale community will become instant fans of the best new place to grab a delicious lunch or dinner.”

The 1,800-square-foot store is expected to employ about 20 people with dine-in, takeout, and delivery options.

Once open the location will be open seven days from 10:00pm-8:00pm.
