Meson Madrid Has Returned in Palisades Park

Meson Madrid, the seminal Spanish restaurant is back after some downtime in Palisades Park. Closed since at least early March of last year (Read Story), a new team is at the helm of the family-style casual restaurant.

Management graduated from Culinary Institute of America and has experience at many types of restaurants in NYC, including one with a Michelin star.

Offering a menu (View Menu) that is very much seafood driven — plenty of meat dishes too — plus tapas and more.

They still offer their famous paella, the traditional Spanish rice dish. There is a 20 minute wait for the dish, as they cook everything fresh — crafted using house stock, sofrito and different seafood and more — depending on the style. It’s served on a small tabletop stove to keep the paella hot.

Currently they are open only for dinner Monday thru Saturday from 5:00pm till 10:00pm.
