Looking empty recently, longtime Spanish restaurant Meson Madrid looks to be closed in Palisades Park — a number of readers shared the news in the last week or so.

Though that may be correct — a phone call to the store eventually rang to the voicemail login — their website and Yelp page (View Page) reveal some details. Both say they are currently/temporarily closed — the website specifies for renovation — though the website also announces “REOPEN DATE – NOT SCHEDULED”

Without any more details, customers may or may not have missed their last chance for twin lobster special. Hopefully there will be more information soon.
