Fork it Let’s Spoon (View Instagram), a local-focused food instagram account, has debuted a new pilot on Optimum Channel 1.

Jersey natives Mody and Daphne launched their feed to showcase mom and pop eateries, since they believe the best food comes from receipes handed down from previous generations and family-operated business always treat customers best. After receiving a call from a production company, the two worked to craft the concept for a show — essentially help those smaller family-run eateries get exposure that they may not otherwise.

“The Show in our mind is about a local foodie that is willing to travel near and far to find the best fork and spoon around” said Mody, “Each episode will showcase a meal and a dessert, typically in the same area. The owners will talk about their vision as viewers get a behind-the-scenes look”.

Ridgewood is the locale for their first episode, which has aired on Optimum Channel 1. The show is also available via the WEcook TV channel on Roku and embedded above from YouTube.
