Opening Alert: Hotel Chocolat, Paramus, NJ

British chocolatier and cocoa grower Hotel Chocolat, has opened their second US cafe and storefront at Garden State Plaza. An NYC location began operation last December.

Founded in 2004, the brand can trace their chocolate from an organic cocoa plantation in Saint Lucia to their manufacturing facility in Cambridgeshire – literally “tree to the consumer”.

Their signature hot chocolate is made with with no powders and no syrups – just natural, grated chocolate with flavors ranging from salted caramel to 85% dark – all with less sugar than most modern options.


In addition to the cafe, their old fashioned “glass cabinet” Wall of Chocolate is on display, where customers can  inspect each chocolate option up close – with specific details on each of the showcased varieties.

Hotel Chocolat is open six days a week (closed Sundays) from 10:00am till 9:30pm.
