Opening Alert: Technique, Westwood, NJ

Technique, a French American Bistro, has opened in Westwood at the former home of Caffe Anello on Broadway.

Keeping the existing open kitchen formula of the space, Chef and owner Ross Goldflam (Kitchen 55 in Rye, Cafe 1133 in White Plains) is serving a menu (see below) focused on French classics as well as American inspired dishes using the French technique of cooking.

Items like his take on Tuna Tartare, Escargot, Caramel Pork Belly, Pate de Campagne, Coq au Vin, Braised Short Rib and the chef’s signature Braised Pork and Clam Cioppino are all featured.

The 50 seat restaurant is open for dinner only Wednesday through Saturday.
