Irish pub Celtic Corner has opened in Hawthorne, with it’s hand-hewn bar and authentic Irish woodwork — which also features the cuisine of consulting executive chef Christine Nunn, well known for her time at numerous North Jersey establishments like Picnic, Grange and Picnic on the Square — garnering top reviews from many media outlets.

The menu (View Menu) offers many Irish classics and “plays on Irish pub food”. Owners David McGoldrick and Roy O’Donovan worked for a few months with Nunn, who also has some “interesting daily specials” planned.

Don’t worry about drinks, there’s plenty of beer, wine and cocktails available too — Celtic Corner is open seven days a week from 11:00am till 3:00am.
