Mamoun’s, the longtime Village falafel restaurant that’s been expanding over the last few years, is opening it’s second Bergen County location in East Rutherford – the first opened earlier this year in Fort Lee.

They launched as the first NYC falafel restaurant back in 1971, with a menu vegetable and meat sandwiches and platters, along with a selection of Mediterranean sides (ie hummus) and desserts (ie baklava) (View Menu) all made from scratch.

Known for it’s competitive pricing as much as it’s food, the current price of a falafel sandwich at the Fort Lee outlet is $4.75.

While there are no confirmed dates yet for an opening, let’s hope it’s sometime this year.
