New Jersey Monthly Awards The Hill in Closter Three Stars

The Hill, the restaurant and bar from acclaimed chef Ben Pollinger (formerly of the one Michelin-starred Oceana), has received three stars in his first review from New Jersey Monthly magazine (Read Full Review).

There were four name drops of famous city restaurateurs and/or chefs, and the word Michelin only appeared three times. Reviewer Eric Levin also spent two paragraphs praising the carrot salad, plus took a dig at the caliber of Closter-area restaurants (he’s not wrong). Oh, and the seafood is pretty good.

The Hill is open six days a week (closed Mondays) for dinner.
