The Daily Meal rolled out their annual list of America’s 50 Best Italian Restaurants (Read Full List). The list was compiled by looking at their other rankings (Best Restaurants, Best Casual Restaurants) along with votes from food writers, critics, and bloggers.

The criteria was pretty simple for the choices: “un-snooty service”, quality food, creativity, and overall experience.

One NJ eatery made the cut with Razza in Jersey City at #23. The pizza spot from Dan Richer has been well documented with high praise from the New York Times and many other local outlets.
