The River Palm Named Best Steakhouse in New Jersey

The folks over at The Daily Meal continue to break down our national culinary landscape. The latest being the venerable steakhouse, crafting a list of the best from each state. (Read Full List)

Using their list of 50 best in America as a starting point, they expanded into each state and looked at criteria like meat grading (Prime or Choice), aging (if any) and side dishes (think creamed spinach, slab bacon, etc).

And amazingly enough, Bergen County’s own The River Palm in Edgewater was named the best in New Jersey. The restaurant was singled out for their dry-aged USDA Prime beef (for 28 days) and their daily fresh varieties of fish. Even the sushi was highlighted. The River Palm is open seven days a week for dinner, with lunch on Monday thru Saturday.
