103 Prime in Park Ridge Adds David Werner as Chef

103 Prime, the restaurant from veteran restaurateur Angelo Colella and son Jerry, has announced the addition of Chef David Werner to their culinary team.

We’ve been told his background in both the study of earth science and botany at Dartmouth and the arts at the Art Institute of Denver, are reflected in his “creative farm to table approach” to crafting restaurant food menus.

Chef Werner began his culinary training in Denver and has spent time working kitchens in Aspen, Philly, Newark, Montclair, and Manhattan. He most recently worked with Jersey restaurant group Landmark Hospitality is various capacities across their portfolio of venues (Snug Harbor, Liberty House).

He’s actually been with 103 Prime at Valentino’s since December bringing a seasonal change and focus their menu, aiming to “pay honor” to the Valentino’s tradition.

103 Prime is open six days a week for dinner (closed Sundays) and weekdays for lunch.
