Fair Kitchens, a movement of chefs supporting chefs to inspire a more positive kitchen culture, has launched with support from Unilever.

As part of this new proposed take on restaurant kitchen life, chefs are being asking to curate a “kinder and more open” work environment than typically seen over the years.

One of three chefs in driving the movement is John Vitale of Caffe Anello, Johnny’s Italian Market and Sogno Coffeehouse – all in Westwood. John is also participating as the movement spokesperson.

The #FairKitchens and #AnHourForUs hashtags are being used across social media to help share the core values and to “puts teams first”. For more information on the program, details are available at the movement’s website (Visit Site).
