Jersey Mike’s Subs, the rapidly expanding sub shop known for its fresh sliced and fresh grilled subs, has opened their first Rockland location in Nanuet.

Started in 1956, Jersey Mike’s now has 1,500 restaurants open and under development nationwide including locally in East Rutherford, Emerson, Northvale, Ramsey, Ridgewood, Rochelle Park and Wayne. Jersey Mike’s was named the country’s fastest-growing sandwich chain in the 2017 Nation’s Restaurant News Top 100.

The growth is fueled in part by their subs made Mike’s Way – with onions, lettuce and tomatoes topped off with “the juice” (a red wine vinegar and olive oil blend). Jersey Mike’s meats and cheeses are sliced on the spot and served on their in-store baked bread.
