Mr. Cupcakes, the North Jersey cupcake shop chain, has announced the closing of their location at the Shops at Riverside Mall in Hackensack – effective at the end of the week/month.

For those unfamiliar, owner Johnny Manganiotis has been serving his cupcakes since 2007, baking up to 40 flavors like red velvet, s’mores, and French Toast.

According to their social media (View Instagram Post), they’ve been kicked out of the mall – along with Hugo Boss, Victoria Secret, Sunglass Hut, L’Occitane and others – as part of a redevelopment plan.  So for those who typically visit the shop, this is the last week to do so. But don’t forget they also have locations in Clifton, Hawthorne, Oradell and Paramus.
