The Daily Meal is never short with their “best of” lists covering every type of cuisine and dish served in the US. A recent one was The Best Family Restaurants in America (Read Full List).

The group of 75 restaurants have something for everyone from young to old, aren’t overly pricey, and a wide selection of food. They aimed for places that weren’t overly “kid-oriented” and the correct atmosphere for the fam. It wasn’t a necessity to have a kids menu, though it apparently didn’t hurt for voting.

And wouldn’t you know it, Bergen County’s very own mini Chinese/Diner/Ice Cream chain Baungart’s Cafe in Englewood, Edgewater and Ridgewood made the cut. Mentioned in the post was the noodles, fries, burgers, hotdogs, sesame chicken, lo mein, and ice cream.
