Those chosen pancakes with local or national renown and typically offer a wide variety. There’s lots of toppings, fillings etc to review, though “quality ingredients” helped make the cut.

New Jersey was represented by Brownstone Diner in Jersey City. Highlighted fro their 27 varieties of pancakes with their secret buttermilk pancake recipe from the 1970s. Guy Fieri once even visited the shop for an episode of Diner’s Drive-ins and Dives.
