Mason’s Cellar in Rutherford Closing Wednesday Ahead of Move

Mason Cellar, the liquor store in Rutherford that opened back in 2013 (Read Article), will close ahead of their announced move on Wednesday, January 24th.

As per the plan they shared back in September, the new space will be the same size (5000 square feet) as before, though there will be a larger selection of spirits, wines and beer. There’s also a glass vault replacing the bank vault from before, which will house the fine wines and whiskeys (ie expensive ones).

Another key component is the announcement of an event venue named The 18th Amendment. The venue will hostĀ tastings, classes, other events and private functions too. It’s not clear how much time the transition will take, though it hopefully won’t be long.
