The Daily Meal food website unleashed their latest list, The Best Special Occasion Restaurant in Every State (View Full List).

These are places that you spend a little extra, you dress a little better – places where you feel it’s worth that little extra, in particular to host that special occassion there.

Scalini Fedeli was named as the choice for New Jersey. The Morris County restaurant is located inside a farmhouse from the 1700s and even has a NYC location in TriBeCa. The menu is described as French and Italian, with highlights like diver sea scallop carpaccio, soft egg yolk raviolo and a veal chop.
