North Jersey Cuban Eats Get High Marks From Eater

Eater covers food for most of the big cities in the US, however it’s rare that New Jersey gets coverage — even in their NYC edition (though it happens sometimes).

There latest guide of 10 Standout Cuban Restaurants In and Around NYC (View Full Post) in accordance to Eater senior critic Robert Sietsema — features not one, but two North Jersey restaurants.

Dos Amigos in West New York (5300 Bergenline Ave) makes the cut for it’s Pan Con Bistec pressed sandwich — featuring steak, onions and french fries. La Churreria Restaurant & Cafeteria in West New York (3300 Bergenline Ave) makes the cut for it’s extended menu of “countryside” items like juices, tamal en cazuela (pork and cornmeal casserole), and Cuban sandwich.

And let’s not forget the Bobby Flay slaying (View Article) Cuban sandwich now being served in Bergen County this year at Azucar Cuban Cuisine (Visit Website) in Closter.
