Red White & Que Smokehouse Coming to Wayne

Highly touted BBQ restaurant Red White and Que, which was named best in the state by Thrillist (Read Full Article), has announced they are opening a location Wayne in the former Momma’s Boys storefront.

The shop is co-owned by Dan Misuraca (a former marine) and his wife Katie, serves a menu (View Menu) of on-site smoked meats using only Certified Angus Beef and Duroc Pork including Carolina pulled pork, St. Louis cut ribs, brisket, smoked chicken and local sausage. Traditional bbq sides like potato salad, mac and cheese, collard greens and baked beans are all homemade.

They’ve been on a expansion tear since their first location opened (Kearny), with spots now open in Scotch Plains, Randolph, Barnegat and more. A planned Little Ferry location was scrapped, so Wayne might be the closest spot for in the area for now.
