There’s plenty of homemade ice cream shops here in Bergen County, many of which have been around a long time. Though it came as no surprise who the winner was after seeing his Best NJ Ice Cream showdown finalists last year (See Finalist List).

Ice Cream by Mike in Hackensack bested the field with their “creative if not crazy flavors”. If you visit (you should), Pete recommends the vanilla and lemon.
