Opening Alert: Shumi, Ridgewood, NJ
Shumi, an “upscale Japanese eatery”, has opened in Ridgewood.
The restaurant features sushi Chef David Seo, who trained under Kunihiko Aikasa – who has been running Shumi in Somerville since 1986. Eats include (View Menu) a large variety of fish (as sushi, sahsimi, roll, hand roll) and omakase menu (chef’s choice) – along with many traditional sushi appetizers, entrees, ramen and more.
Shumi is open seven days a week for lunch and dinner.
