Only a few states have elected an official sweet — but it almost doesn’t matter since the food site took the liberty of choosing representatives for all 50 in our great union.
New Jersey, with it’s large Italian population and many Italian bakeries, was honored with it’s “Colorful pastries and cookies” like pignoli, biscotti, and pizelles — The Daily Meal couldn’t choose just one cookie to represent the entire state.
