Flying Fish Brewery Produces Most Iconic Beer in State
Thrillist published their list of The Most Iconic Beer in Every State. Criteria other than longevity and impact is that the beer must be partially brewed within the state, passing over some beers that were purchased and now produced elsewhere.
The New Jersey brewery selected was Flying Fish, the Somerdale brewery opened back in 1996. The team bestowed the iconic label to their Exit 16 (Imperial IPA) beer, brewed with wild rice in honor of the Hackensack Meadowlands.
