Opening Alert: Acapella West, Edgewater, NJ


Acappella West is the second location for co-owners Jeremy Casilli and Chef Sergio Acappella. Their first restaurant in TriBeCa is well-known for its Northern Italian cuisine and culinary showmanship. Their intention has always been to create a unique experience for guests.

The meal is paired with complimentary house-made Grappa. No bottle touches the table unless it’s over three years old. The flavors vary from apricot, cherry, prune, raisin, and limoncello. Next is an amuse-bouche: a Parmesan cheese wheel, from Arthur’s Avenue in the Bronx, rolled out to the tableside and sliced along with aged soppressata.

Acappella West is passionate about a la minuto style. This means preparation and cooking are performed at the table. A deconstructed Caesar Salad, from produce to dressing, is made to order in front of you. The menu will also feature a Triple Cut Pork Chop on the bone and a Rack of Lamb. For dessert a Banana Flambé is also prepared tableside.


The hours of operation for Lunch are Tuesday through Friday 11:45 am to 3 pm. Dinner is served Tuesday through Thursday and Sunday from 5 pm to 10:30 pm. Friday and Saturday dinner service is from 5 pm to 11 pm. Acappella West is closed on Mondays. Keep an eye out: Brunch is coming soon.
