The Daily Meal published their list of the 50 Best Sushi Bars in America.

These shops were graded based on things like information from “leading culinary authorities”, local reviews and pre-existing local rankings, freshness of fish, variety of offerings, and “level of renown” both local and national.

One New Jersey restaurant made the cut at #50, Honshu in Jersey City. The 10 year old restaurant was highlighted for be spacious and trendy – the Daily Meal suggests the Fashion roll (yellowtail, salmon, jalapeño, fresh scallop, and green tobiko), the nigiri and sashimi or to go with the omakase.
