The Daily Meal, not content on naming just the top hamburgers in the US each June, they’ve compiled one that counts just the 25 Best Cheeseburgers in our great union. The list was paired down from 250 — suggestions from burger authorities, online reviews and best of lists. These were then put in the hands of their esteemed panel — journalists, bloggers and other culinary authorities. To qualify, burgers had to simply topped with cheese — no other topping other than regular condiments (lettuce, tomato, onion) — made with “high quality” meat (only beef), well-seasoned, etc.

And as highly expected, White Manna in Hackensack made the list, coming in at #21. The “North Jersey legend” and “diner-style burger joint” was highlighted for their well-known smashed meat cooked on a flattop with sliced onions and cheese, served on a Martin’s potato roll.
