In collaboration with Al Roker and TODAY on NBC, Shake Shack announced the Roker Burger, available from August 22nd-August 26th at all U.S. Shacks, including both in Paramus

The Roker Burger ($7.49) is a 100% all-natural Angus burger topped with Niman Ranch BBQ pulled pork, double American cheese, red-eye mayo and pickles. $1 from every Roker Burger will support No Kid Hungry in its effort to end childhood hunger in America, where 1 in 5 kids in America are living in households without consistent access to food.

“Creating a burger with the folks at Shake Shack is exciting,” said Al Roker, TODAY. “Creating a burger that helps childhood hunger is inspiring.”

The Roker Burger launch is part of the new series, “TODAY’s ORIGINALS,” wherein TODAY anchors create and market products throughout the fall with proceeds being contributed to charitable causes.

Al Roker has been the weather and feature anchor on NBC’s TODAY since January 1996. In May 2002, “Al Roker’s Big Bad Book of Barbecue” was published and quickly became a summer blockbuster hit. His second cookbook, “Al Roker’s Hassle Free Holiday Cookbook,” became a huge success as it prepared America’s budding chefs for the holidays.
