Great Notch Distillery’s Garden State Gin and Devil’s Legend Apple Pie Moonshine each won Double Gold Medals “Best In Class” at the 2016 Seattle International Spirits Awards (SISA). This is the Pacific Northwest’s largest and most comprehensive distilled spirits and liqueurs awards program. SISA held a single-blind evaluation of local, regional, national and international artisan, craft and popular distilled products from around the world.

“As the fourth licensed small craft distillery in the State and the first in Bergen County, the awards are an indicator that we’re on the right track producing great tasting spirits”, said Randy Pratt the owner and distiller of Great Notch Distillery. “We were up against top spirits from around the world and were awarded distinguished medals to add to our collection of recognition from industry leaders”, added Pratt. “This has been a remarkable run and we are very honored and humble to receive such accolades”, said Pratt.

Great Notch was named New Jersey Distillery of the Year in 2015 and has been producing several spirits since its 2014 opening. You can read more about the distillery at the Great Notch Distillery website.
