Roadfood Names Two North Jersey Hot Dogs Best in America
Roadfood, the guidebook of “Authentic Regional Eats” which also operates roadfood.com, has named their 30 choices for America’s Best Hot Dogs. Naturally two Jersey spots made the list: Jimmy Buff’s in West Orange with their “must eat” Newark-style hot dog (all-beef wiener deep-fried nestled inside a half loaf of Italian bread topped with fried potatoes, sauteed onions and peppers) and Rutt’s Hut in Clifton with their “must eat” pork/beef Ripper. Of course don’t forget about all seven styles of Jersey hot dogs according to Saveur Magazine.
