International restaurateur Gokhan Cakmak has announced the opening of Hudson Mediterranean Grill, located in the Trader Joe’s shopping center in Edgewater. Mr. Cakmak, the former CEO of Simit & Smith Bakery (Cliffside Park & NYC), has launched this new venture featuring authentic Mediterranean cuisine prepared with nothing artificial, no GMOs and made only with halal meats from local suppliers.

“I am thrilled to be serving the community of Edgewater with our authentic Mediterranean menu items and I look forward to providing great customer service to residents in Bergen County and the Tri-State area. I have a passion for giving clientele a quality affordable experience that I assure you will have them coming back for more.” said Cakmak.

The restaurant offers entrees (View Menu) like Grilled Turkish Meatballs, Free-Range Chicken Kebabs, fresh daily seafood specials, Lamb Brochettes and appetizers such as Hummus, Babaganoush, and Stuffed Grape Leaves. The restaurant is currently open for lunch and dinner and will open for breakfast sometime in September. They also offer local delivery.
