Opening Alert: White Maple Cafe, Ridgewood, NJ
White Maple Cafe, the contemporary American restaurant with a selection of familiar dishes with a local focus comprised of “seasonal, sustainable, and antibiotic-free ingredients”, from owner Ryan Brining (Daniel, NYC) has opened in Ridgewood.
Brining has launched with a menu (Dinner Menu, Lunch Menu) of soups, salads, flatbreads and mains featuring chicken, steak and fish.
It’s rounded out with wine from Ventimiglia Vineyard and a mocktail menu and house-made sodas–milkshakes are crafted from gelato made at small batch purveyor Bucket & Bay in Jersey City.
The restaurant has 50 seats in the dining room and an additional 16 on the outside patio–weather permitting.
The space has been renovated (previously Heidi’s Bakery) with a new mosaic floor tile, hand-hewn barn beams, exposed brick, concrete counter-top, and a living wall will as part of the decor.
White Maple Cafe will be open seven days for dinner, with lunch service weekdays (Monday-Friday).
In addition, brunch service is expected to launch very soon.
