Opening Alert: Mitchell’s Fish Market, Edgewater, NJ

Mitchell’s Fish Market, a new seafood restaurant and bar, has opened in Edgewater replacing The Crab House. This is the first New Jersey location for Mitchell’s, housed in a space nearly 10,000 square feet along the Hudson River overlooking Manhattan.

The open-floor plan includes the main dining room, lounge, outdoor dining patio and the Manhattan Room – used for private events. In addition to panoramic views of the river, the interior features wood pillars, vaulted ceilings and locally themed murals.

Mitchell’s offers a menu (View Sample Menu) of traditional and not so traditional seafood dishes – like a charbroiled medley of oysters, shrimp and clams, iced seafood towers, smokin’ hot sizzle platters, small plates and house-made desserts. In addition, Mitchell’s Fish Market offers a wine collection including Cakebread Chardonnay, Caymus Cabernet Sauvignon, Jordan Cabernet Sauvignon and Chardonnay.

Joining the Mitchell’s Fish Market team is Victor Rezabala, who will serve as the General Manager and Anthony Assenzio as Executive Chef. The restaurant is open Sunday – Friday from 11:30 a.m. – 10 p.m., and Saturday from 11:30 a.m. – 11 p.m.
