Big Papa Smoke’m Raising Funds to Open Storefront


Big Papa Smoke’m, the barbecue business from Chef Mario Chape, is looking to expand beyond farmers markets, popups, and other food events through Kickstarter to open a storefront/commissary for his smoked meat business in North Jersey. Chape has been at it for over 15 years, with his BBQ driven as a socially responsible food business. This is done through sustainability of farms and true farm to table sourcing of meats — from nose to tail, with no wasted product — and a partnership with Piggy Bank, which practices “open source agriculture”.
