Local Heartbreaking Dawns Named to Top Hot Sauce List
Thrillist named their 23 Most Popular (Regional) American Hot Sauces, highlighting the locality of each to showcase their regional origins. In the Northeast, Hearbreaking Dawns from husband and wife team Chef Johnny and Nicole McLaughlin (they are also behind the hugely successful NJ Taco Festival) were one of the five brands representing, as they are “currently leading the charge in NY’s local hot sauce arena with a brown sugar-spiked habanero sauce” – Blair’s Hot Sauce from Highlands, NJ was also mentioned.
